Best chippie in Cumbernauld

Chips were insipid, very white and floppy, tasted like boiled instead of crispy and fried. Batter on fish fell off, no cohesion, very greasy, not a good meal at all

Food was as always good, delivery quick, will always use Marini's

THE FOOD QUALITY SEEMS TO HAVE ' GOWN DOWN ' A BIT RECENTLY , WHICH IS RATHER SURPRISING AS IT USUALLY IS ' TOP QUALITY '. PRICES ARE ALSO CREEPING UP; JUST LIKE MOST PLACES HOWEVER THE ONE BIG ' NO ! NO ! ' IS THIS RACKET OF THE ' SERVICE FEE ' (( I KNOW OTHER PLACES ARE DOING THE SAME ) , BUT IT HAS GONE UP FROM 50p > 80p (60% !!!) . MANY CUSTOMERS WOULD ARGUE THAT THEY ARE DOING THE PLACES ,THAT IMPLEMENT THIS ' PRIVATE TAX ' , A ' SERVICE ' BY PLACING ORDERS WITH THEM INSTEAD OF OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS . THINK ABOUT IT " MARINI " ! .

Chicken was very dry. Dog got most of it.

Ordered a large special fish it was lovely and the staff were very pleasant and efficient when went to the restaurant. Bit on the rest side so won’t be going regularly but when I do fancy a treat it will be here!
